Customizable Shortcuts
Open Settings > Shortcuts to remap the main shortcuts: New Snippet, New Note, New Folder, Attach File…, Command Center, Find, Copy, Favorite, Sync, and Publish. Menus and toolbar buttons update as soon as you change one, and you get a warning if a combination is already taken.
The menubar global hotkey (default Cmd+Shift+V) is remappable in the same pane and works system-wide. Handy when a clipboard manager already claims that combination.
Other shortcuts follow macOS conventions and cannot be changed.
Tips
- Cmd+K is the most versatile shortcut. It opens the Command Center, which gives you access to nearly every action in the app.
- Cmd+D is the fastest way to mark frequently used snippets for quick access.
- Shift+Cmd+C copies the full snippet content without needing to select it first, much faster than Cmd+A followed by Cmd+C.
- Shift+Cmd+S is useful when you want to ensure your changes are synced before switching to another Mac.
- Option+Cmd+N creates a Note instead of a code snippet, and Shift+Cmd+A attaches a file to whichever one you are editing.
