SnipperApp for Windows

SnipperApp 3 is a native macOS app. There is no Windows version today, and we have not decided whether to build one. This list is how we decide: if enough Windows developers want it, it gets built.

What SnipperApp is

A code snippet manager for developers: folders, tags, and workspaces; full-text search; a Cmd+K command palette; iCloud and GitHub Gist sync; and a bundled MCP server so Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf can search, read, and save your snippets. One-time purchase, no subscription. See the Mac app.

What works on Windows today

  • SnipperApp Hub runs in any browser: browse and copy free community snippets.
  • If you also use a Mac, the app syncs between your Macs through iCloud and to GitHub Gists, which you can read anywhere.

Questions

Would it be a one-time purchase?
That is the model for the Mac app and the intent for any other platform. Nothing is decided until the list says whether to build it.
Would my Mac license carry over?
Unknown until there is something to carry it to. If you ask, we will note it.
When?
We will review this list in about three months and email everyone on it either way.
